The past year has been a flurry of red carpets and fashion shows for 26-year-old Simone Ashley. Cast as It girl Olivia Hanan in comedy series Sex Education and the enigmatic Kate Sharma in Bridgerton, Ashley displayed serious acting chops despite debuting just six years ago with a minor role in the 2016 drama series, Wolfblood. However, fans can expect more screen time from the British-Indian actress in season two of Bridgerton which premieres today. This time, look forward to a slow-burning romance between Kate Sharma and Anthony Bridgerton, a performance complete with glittering tiaras and intricate Regency era dresses.
