Two great minds will once again converge at the Prada fall/winter 2022 show—happening at 2pm (CEST) in Milan. While co-creative directors Raf Simons and Miuccia Prada will present their vision for womenswear very soon, the reveal comes riddled with Instagram teasers of a celebration of the model profession. Ahead of the show, Prada has teased an ode to the women modelling the clothes, instead of it being the other way around.
Drawing attention to the models; it does seem parallel to the recent menswear show for fall/winter 2022—where Prada and Simons deployed eight actors down the runway, who represented “real men, recognised figures”. Guess we will find out what this means for the ready-to-wear collection, very soon.
