The shows must go on! In Milan, the fashion industry has taken its first tentative steps since the global lockdown of 2020. Fendi and Prada both held phygital autumn/winter 2021 menswear shows, while Dolce & Gabbana, who was originally going to hold a full-fledged fashion show, opted out from showing entirely. Still, despite the muted, and much scaled down, format, the street style scene—though mostly models—still survived in Milan.
