Some grooming notes to chart a path to success: pay extra attention to the crowns you wear on your head. For if there’s anything we’ve learnt from our favourite heartthrobs over the years—it’s that a man’s hair is equally pivotal in instigating transformation. The biggest names in pop culture would doubtlessly have to agree. There was the eternal David Beckham, ever the pinnacle of effortless cool as he flitted from bleached-blonde curtain tips to the experimental mohawk and that first buzzcut during his heydays in the ‘00s. Over in teenage territory (aka the now-millennial crush), we had the likes of Zac Efron and Logan Lerman, the leading men who came swooping in with their side-swept bangs and face-framing layers—a look that held our hearts for the earlier part of the last decade.

It was also a time when we adored the dorky, nerdy friend to the main character. When Adam Brody’s Seth Cohen in The O.C. and Dylan O’Brien’s Stiles Stilinski from Teen Wolf came trotting in, accosting us with their boyish cuts, sometimes with softer waves, other times cut short, albeit texture weaved in.

In recent years, however, much of our attention has shifted. Longer, permed and explicitly stylised cuts have taken over the zeitgeist, in part due to the growing interest in Asian culture. Be it wavy bangs, sharp and boyish cuts, or the shorter version of the ever-controversial mullet, the hair styles one could explore ran the gamut.
In the heat of 2025, these are the trending men’s hair styles holding our attention (and being worn on our favourite heartthrobs)? Sure enough, the Internet has already spoken. Behold, the ones we’re adding to our mood oards and have compiled here exclusively for your viewing pleasure. We’re sure they’re bound to come in handy some day…
