There are a great deal of places that sheer determination can get you. Just ask professional fitness athlete and YouTuber Kim Jae-Hong—better known as Amotti from Season 2 of Physical 100: Asia. After a debilitating car accident that put him out of competitive CrossFit, Amotti had one goal in mind: to recover fully, and prove that he could walk again. In the years to follow, Amotti would go on to surpass his doctor’s expectations; beyond fully regaining his mobility, he went on to not only compete, but eventually emerge as the champion of the South Korean reality survivor series.

Anyone who has seen the riveting survival show will know his story; despite being eliminated at the team rounds initially, Amotti was chosen for a revival match that turned the game around forever. Indeed, luck was on his side, but his mental fortitude remains unmatched. Yet, the fitness junkie—known for his positivity and bright charm—will chalk it up to a simple yet often overlooked mindset. “What keeps me going is remembering why I started in the first place, which was to grow, to challenge myself, and to set an example for my family and the people who support me. On my lowest days, I remind myself that progress isn’t about being perfect, it’s about showing up consistently,” Amotti says.
Since his big win, the Physical 100: Asia star has been basking in the afterglow; another fitness challenge—by way of Hyrox Singapore—brought him to town late last year, he’s taken off to Mongolia to shoot a spin-off of the survival series, and he’s starting 2026 on another incredible note. Alongside the likes of professional F1 driver Lewis Hamilton and fitness advocate Kayla Jeter, Amotti is fronting lululemon’s ‘Yet’ campaign for its winter 2025 collection, one that rewards perseverance against all obstacles, and the belief that one’s untapped potential is always waiting on the other side of the road. There’s certainly no better person to embody this than Amotti himself.
Determined to inspire, the fitness star has also brought his A-game to Singapore once again—this time around for a high-energy, one-day experience at lululemon Training Ground. Amidst his latest visit, Vogue Singapore asks Amotti about what he tells himself to stay motivated, how lululemon supports his training regimes, and his idea of wellness.

Your physique and positivity are two of the things that you’re now known for. What motivates you to keep going even on your lowest of days?
What keeps me going is remembering why I started in the first place, which was to grow, to challenge myself, and to set an example for my family and the people who support me. On my lowest days, I remind myself that progress isn’t about being perfect, it’s about showing up consistently. Training helps, but so does perspective. I have grown to understand that every setback is part of the journey. I truly believe that the best is yet, and that belief keeps me positive and moving forward.
How do you feel wearing lululemon? In what way do lululemon’s pieces support your own fitness regime?
Wearing lululemon makes me feel confident while supporting me in all my workouts. The pieces are designed to move with you, so I never have to think about my gear when I’m training. It supports me through high-intensity sessions, long workouts, and recovery days. What is the most important part of preparing for a workout for you?
For me, preparing for a workout starts with my mindset. I focus on developing the Yet mindset, reminding myself that there’s always room to grow and get stronger. What I love about lululemon is how the gear delivers both high performance and high style. It’s built to handle intense training, but still looks stylish beyond the gym. I would take inspiration from pieces like the Repper Short Sleeve shirt and the License to Train short, creating something breathable, durable, and versatile enough for hybrid workouts, while still feeling stylish every day.
Is there a song that you listen to or think of to keep yourself focused?
I have been listening to ‘One More Time’ by AllDay Project a lot these days.
Physical fitness is one aspect of wellness, but we’re curious as to how you strike a balance overall. What does true holistic wellness look like to you?
Physical training is important to me, but I’ve learned that real wellness goes beyond just workouts. Balance comes from knowing when to push and when to slow down. I make space for proper recovery, quality sleep, time with my family, and moments to reset mentally, whether that’s taking a walk, or simply being present off the phone. To me, true holistic wellness is feeling strong, clear-minded, and grounded, so I can show up fully in both my training and my life.

What do you hope participants take away from your Training Ground session with lululemon?
I hope participants leave feeling stronger, not just physically, but mentally as well. More than the workout itself, I want them to take away a sense of confidence, community, and belief in their own potential. If they walk out thinking, “I can do more than I thought,” then that’s a win for me, and a reminder that the best is yet.
For someone who is starting out their fitness journey, what sort of advice would you give them?
I would say start simple and be consistent. Focus on building good habits first. Learn proper form, find exercises you enjoy, and set realistic goals. Don’t compare yourself to others—progress is personal and takes time. Most importantly, enjoy the process by celebrating small wins, and remember that every step forward counts.
