The spring/summer 2026 collection from Loewe was a major one for the Spanish fashion house. All eyes were on the maison’s new creative directors Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez for their big debut with the brand, following the latest round of musical chairs amongst the top dogs of the fashion world. Unsurprisingly, the duo—who have worked together for more than two decades—knocked it out of the park, presenting a collection that brimmed with life and colour, accentuated by vibrant hues and striking, clean lines.
It is no wonder, then, that both fashion darlings and stylish celebrities were eagerly waiting for release of the collection in person. One such example is Thai starlet Film Rachanun, who flew to Singapore earlier this year with Phuwin Tangsakyuen for Loewe’s spring/summer 2026 presentation held at the chicest dining spot in town, Somma.
This season is the first time that the Wednesday Club actress has teamed up with Loewe. To mark this special partnership, Vogue Singapore armed Rachanun with a film camera as she experienced the momentous collection in person for the first time. You’re in Singapore to see the spring/summer 2026 collection by Loewe. How are you feeling?
I’m very excited. This is my first time collaborating with Loewe, and the spring/summer 2026 collection feels like experiencing a piece of art. It beautifully blends tradition with modernity, and the designs are incredibly unique.
Describe the Loewe spring/summer 2026 collection in three words.
Energetic, craftsmanship and artistic.
The colours in the collection are generally very strong and punchy. Were you drawn to any specific colours or pieces?
I was especially drawn to the yellow origami shoes and the red blazer jacket. Both pieces really stood out to me and captured the energy of the collection.
Is there an accessory you feel is absolutely essential to have and wear right now?
The Amazona 180 bag. A bag is something I use every day to keep my belongings organised, and I chose the Amazona 180 because it celebrates Loewe’s 180th anniversary. It makes me feel like I’m part of this special celebration.
One song that comes to mind when you see the collection?
‘Drive My Car’ by The Beatles.
Could you pick out outfits for these scenarios: (a) To wear to the airport, (b) A day out with your girl best friends?
For the airport, I’d choose a soft knit—like this red top—to feel warm and cosy on the flight. And for a fun day with my best friends, I would wear this vibrant green dress, since it’s chic and effortless at the same time!
