The new Loewe Holiday Collection delivers a whimsical and timeless selection of accessories

In keeping with tradition, Loewe has released its annual Holiday Collection. As with previous editions, part of the collection is inspired by the British Arts and Crafts Movement of the 19th century. Previous collaborations have been with the estates of seminal figures of the movement such as William Morris and William De Morgan.

This year’s edition celebrates the work of architect and designer, Charles Francis Annesley Voysey (C.F.A. Voysey) and is inspired by his stylised patterns of natural forms traced with his characteristic graphic outline in black. 

Voysey’s charming patterns of florals and birds in particular have been magnified, and embroidered or printed on a selection of clothing and bags—notably the Hammock, Puzzle and Cushion. Rendered in rich, vivid shades of vermillion, yellow and blue against neutral colours, these whimsical designs are elegantly simple and surprisingly wearable. 

The Holiday Collection also sees the launch of the classic Amazona bag, which was reintroduced during Loewe’s autumn/winter 2021 collection, in a new size—Amazona 23. In addition, a spin on the Puzzle bag—the Puzzle hobo—has been introduced.

New iterations of iconic bags have also been released in monogrammed jacquard and leather in striking colourways such as fuchsia and bright green. Highlights include the Goya and the Elephant pocket bags. The collection also includes a delectable range of small leather goods from bag charms to AirPod cases, inspired by natural motifs or in electric shade options. 

Coupled with more versatile everyday wear from deliberately oversized jackets and monogrammed sweaters to flattering halter tops and dresses, Loewe’s Holiday Collection offers updated classics and luxurious, playful options—all underscored with an appeal to last beyond the festive season.
