For Hermès’ autumn/winter 2021 collection, the house delivered much more than a runway. Creative director Nadège Vanhee-Cybulski brought to life a collection that tapped into our universal desire for movement, connection and resilience. These ideas permeated the line in pieces that held a sense of timeless elegance, with a spotlight on fringe and pleats.
The show was held as a three-act, cross-border spectacle beginning with a dance in New York, followed by a runway show in Paris, and rounding off with a second dance in Shanghai.
From a teaser shared by the brand on Instagram, it seems that the Hermès spring/summer 2022 collection will include a colour palette of earthy browns and soft yellows. For more details, we await the SS22 presentation that will take place on Saturday, 2 October at 8.30pm SGT:
