Last year’s spring/summer 2024 menswear showing by Véronique Nichanian presented the Hermès man in a season of self-assuredness and sensuality. And with each passing collection, the longtime artistic director finds new ways to narrate this. While the maison’s spring showing featured a smattering of cotton and linen in sandy browns and calm greys, fall/winter 2024 seems to hint at a different take on masculinity.
So what might the maison’s expression of menswear look like this afternoon in Paris? While a teaser hints at the house’s propensity for sumptuous tailored coats, layer-ready separates and earthy green hues, we’re particularly looking forward to the collection’s accessory offerings. In the last few years the Haut à Courroies bag has been on “It” lists aplenty, easily becoming one of the most coveted and talked about accessories of the year.
