Over the last year, there has been in a sea change in the fashion show format—digital presentations, films and shows are de rigeur now, and with the fashion capitals still in semi-lockdown, the menswear shows are building and expanding on the format. For their autumn/winter 2021 men’s show, Hermès is also giving us a digital experience, a continuation of the conversation between the physical and digital that started with their delightful collaboration with French director Cyril Teste for SS21.
From what we can tell from the teaser, which features a model scaling a staircase, dressed in a deliciously soft knit brown polo, a yellow jacket and khakis—a perfect expression of men’s artistic director Véronique Nichanian’s simple, luxurious essentials.
As for the full show, tune in tomorrow night at 9pm Singapore time to watch the Hermès men’s AW21 runway show
