Red carpet devotees rejoice, for awards season is officially upon us. Fresh off the buzz of an eventful Critics’ Choice Awards comes the show-stopping arrival of the 2026 Golden Globes. Hosted by comedian Nikki Glaser for the second consecutive year, the annual ceremony honours some of the year’s best performances in the arthouse space. This year marks its 83rd iteration, and serves as a continuation of the ongoing battle between some of the buzziest films and shows of 2025—from Wicked: For Good to The White Lotus. Leading the pack is Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another, which received an impressive nine nominations, followed closely by Joachim Trier’s Sentimental Value and Ryan Coogler’s Sinners, which got eight and seven nods, respectively.
So as the spotlight shifts, all eyes are on the iconic Beverly Hilton Hotel, which will once again welcome industry stalwarts to the city of Angels. And as always, the star-studded affair will call for an equally glossy red carpet scene—with A-listers and esteemed invitees all rocking up in nothing but their sartorial best. Extraordinary glamour reigned on the red carpet, with a number of standouts: Jennifer Lawrence delivered a sheer stunner in Sarah Burton’s Givenchy, Jenna Ortega spun a dark, gothic dream in Dilara Findikoglu, and newcomer Chase Infiniti dazzled in Louis Vuitton. Lush, deep black made its mark across the board too, with Selena Gomez and Ayo Edebiri both swooping in wearing custom-made Chanel gowns. Ariana Grande too (now a brunette again) stole the show in a stunning Vivienne Westwood number. The men certainly also delivered on the fashion front with the ever-stylish Colman Domingo decked out in Valentino and accents of Boucheron jewellery, whilst style star and Best Actor winner Timothée Chalamet takes home the award in Chrome Hearts.
