The 2025 Met Gala celebrates the Costume Institute’s new exhibition, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style.” Co-chairs A$AP Rocky, Colman Domingo, Pharrell Williams, and Lewis Hamilton set the bar high with their modern takes on Black dandyism, dressing with grand capes and meaningful details. Guests followed suit (pun very much intended) and wore tailored pieces paired with braids, structural updos, and a nude glossy lip to tie the entire look together. Zendaya, Coco Jones, Sydney Sweeney, and Simone Biles all sported high shine against their neutral-shade lips, a staple that will match any look. Much like tonight’s theme, the Met’s top beauty trend is transcendent.
