Hands up all of you who are still reeling over Michelle Yeoh’s epic win at the Golden Globes. That, along with Ke Huy Quan’s Best Supporting Actor award, made it a truly great day for Asian representation in Hollywood—and a great start to a new and reformed Golden Globes.
This year’s evening was hosted by American comedian Jerrod Carmichael who had no fewer than four outfit changes throughout the show. But the glamour started way before his opening monologue began, on the Golden Globes red carpet parade where the stars shone their brightest, courtesy of scintillating diamonds from the world’s best jewellery brands.
Colourless gemstones on white gold or platinum settings were the dominant trend, although there were a number of noteworthy exceptions adding pops of colour or texture.
Here are Vogue Singapore’s favourite jewellery looks of the evening.
