While this year’s holiday celebrations might look a bit more muted than holidays past, that’s no reason not to add a touch of luxurious cheer to your wardrobes—in fact, it just might be a main factor to do just that.
Italian luxury house Fendi is one of those that is bringing the holiday spirit right to your home with their new Fendi Roma Holiday 2020 collection. Tracksuits have been given the Fendi touch: made from silky viscose satin and with the added gold Fendi Roma bands, the humble loungewear piece has been turned them into a luxe lockdown essential. Cosy up to the fireplace with their chunky FF-logoed knits, and add a a bit of holiday magic with their new range of skirts for the season.
Practicality is also top of mind: the fashion house has partnered with K-Way—a manufacturer brand known for their reversible nylon windbreakers, which can be folded and carried as a pouch—to create a customised Fendi windbreaker. Both men and women’s versions feature a chic, matte black exterior on one side—on the other, the women’s version comes in black and gold, while the men’s version comes in navy blue.
Inspired by the hedonistic partying days at Andy Warhol’s Studio 54, accessories have also been livened up for the most magical time of the year. Think FF-logo necklaces and earrings that do double duty—whether it’s worn on the ears and neck, or wrapped around the waist—along with a whole range of charming styles that will bring the sparkle to your outfit.
Speaking of accessories, the whimsically meta Fendi Roma Packaging collection also makes its retail debut. Taking the form of Fendi’s iconic packaging (as the name implies), the house’s paper bags and boxes have been reimagined in leather and other luxe materials on a range of bags and small leather goods. Coming in Fendi’s signature yellow and a delicious powder pink, the collection is a a cheeky nod to the house’s fun-loving spirit.
For the extra OTT fashionistas among us, the house has also launched a Golden capsule collection featuring—you guessed it—gold in all its forms. There are dazzling Lurex jersey dresses that will turn you into the ultimate Christmas bauble, as well as gold cloqué skirts and jumpsuits—perfect for pairing with the house’s daring mesh bodysuits to make a statement.
