The 2021 Emmy Awards kick off tonight in Los Angeles. TV’s biggest night—now in its 73rd year—is being hosted by Cedric the Entertainer for the first time, with The Crown, Bridgerton, Ted Lasso, and I May Destroy You leading the pack for nominations. In addition to the A-list nominees, there’s also a star-studded list of presenters tonight, including Angela Bassett, Jennifer Coolidge, Dan and Eugene Levy, Sarah Paulson, Seth Rogen.
Even better than all the accolades? That would be the red carpet that will occur beforehand. After going virtual last year, the glitzy Emmys step and repeat is expected to come back this evening. The awards ceremony has a history of delivering tons of glamorous gowns, and stars tonight will surely bust out the finest eveningwear the runways have to offer. (Remember Zendaya’s Christopher John Rogers frock last year?).
