Last night, Dua Lipa performed at her Sunny Hill Festival in Pristina, Kosovo, which is founded by Lipa and her father, Dukagjin Lipa. (The music festival is one of Kosovo’s largest, and this year it featured performers such as J Balvin and Diplo). “Coming home to perform in Kosovo is always such a special moment for me,” Lipa tells Vogue. For her turn on the stage, Lipa shed the black Mugler bodysuits she’s been sporting on her Future Nostalgia tour in favor of a pretty in pink look by Valentino.
Lipa and all 20 of her backup dancers, vocalists, and band members slipped into the Italian label’s Pink PP collection, which features pieces in a uniform hot pink hue. The singer’s custom look included a sequined bra top and mini skirt, complete with the matching opera gloves and mid-calf booties for a monochromatic finish. “The Pink PP collection is iconic Valentino, and I’m honored to be wearing it, alongside my entire touring family,” says Lipa. The all-pink-everything looks certainly fall in line with the Barbiecore trend that’s been all the rage with celebrities lately. Somebody cast her in the Barbie movie!
