Move over, Mocha Mousse, there’s a new It colour in town. Which one, you ask? The answer: Cloud Dancer. Yes, you heard that right, the powers at the Pantone Colour Institute made their annual call on the hue of the year earlier this month, revealing an airy, clean cloud-like white as the Colour of the Year for 2026.

Described by the institute themselves as “a lofty white that reads like a breath of fresh air and is imbued with a feeling of serenity”, the shade immediately feels unassuming at first glance. Calm, pure, a little divine, maybe even outdated. But look a little closer, and you’ll see an invitation to slow down at a time when the world around is in a constant state of unrest. It feels almost symbolic of a clean slate, a much-needed blank canvas to start afresh, which makes sense with the arrival of a new year. January is when resolutions are zealously drawn up, and routines are set in order to diligently commit to said resolutions. This pristine, off-white hue aptly mirrors that sentiment.

Over the spring/summer 2026 runways, the serene colour showed up in more ways than one—splashed across flowy dresses, tailored outerwear, and even simple coord sets. Dior, Bottega Veneta, Balenciaga, and Jil Sander all gave the unassuming hue their own spin, cementing the humble colour’s place in the season’s language.
And styling-wise, the colour is disarmingly versatile. The simplest option is a dress, but you can also wear it as a top with a trusty pair of jeans, dressed up or down with statement accessories. And for the ones who don’t like to play it safe, a chic all-white coord set is the way to go.
Below, check out Vogue Singapore’s guide on how to wear Cloud Dancer like a pro for the upcoming months.
