All the stylish celebrity appearances spotted at the New York Fashion Week spring/summer 2024 shows

September—what we all know to be fashion’s biggest month—is here. And with the lauded month’s arrival, commenced the highly-awaited spring/summer 2024 season, beginning with New York Fashion Week. Needless to say, the buzz in the lead up to showings in the Big Apple has drawn the fashion crowd in like moths to a flame, in part due to a number of debut shows from established and rising designers alike.  

Up until its rostered time slot, Peter Do’s Helmut Lang held the attention of many, as everyone had been waiting to see what direction the newly-appointed designer would head towards. As such, it was a knockout presentation delivered with an assist from famed author Ocean Vuong, who whimmed up the words that would be strewn across shirting, tees and the overarching soundtrack. This particular NYFW also welcomed major player Ralph Lauren who stepped back into the conversation for the first time since before the pandemic—to bring its audiences a glamorous runway filled with boho-inspired silhouettes.

By way of star power, supermodel Christy Turlington’s walk on the Ralph Lauren runway was no doubt a momentous one—and it made sense that its front row was equally beefed up with a number of celebrity faces who could prove the brand’s prowess in the fashion capital. Turning up to the scene were the likes of Jennifer Lopez, Diane Keaton, Amanda Seyfried and house ambassador Krystal Jung. Notably, the brand’s show was not the only one that called upon celebrities to amplify their position; Stuart Vevers’s 10-year-anniversary with Coach saw a slew of fresh faces in attendance, from Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story’s breakout star India Amarteifio to Lola Tung of Amazon Prime’s The Summer I Turned Pretty.
