Circular fashion has come a long way since the days of eBay. From online secondhand platforms to independent sustainable labels, conscious shopping has never been easier—and more stylish. Vestiaire Collective and By Far have teamed up to unveil a circular collaboration, Future Collectibles, an upcycling edit and an archive sale of By Far’s most covetable pieces.
Breathing new life into By Far’s deadstock fabrics and preloved bags, the upcycling edit is a lineup of 6 Mini Rachel shoulder baguette bags. Each bag is adorned with a chainlink and floral appliqué motifs, perfect as a day-to-night staple.
The love and labour of co-founders Sabrina Bezuhanova, Valentina Gyosheva & Denitsa Bumbarova, By Far’s accessories have long stolen the hearts of sustainable fashion aficionados. “Through this project, we’re aiming to give new life to pre-loved styles, create something new from something old and extend the lifecycle of By Far products,” they share. “This collection reduces waste and limits the use of natural resources, contributing towards a more sustainable fashion world, without compromising on beauty or quality!”
In addition to the partnership’s emphasis on longevity and circularity, all proceeds will go towards Women for Women International, a charity close to the hearts of By Far and Vestiaire Collective. “This is another big step towards resale and first hand brands working together for a more circular fashion future,” says Fanny Moizant, co-founder and president of Vestiaire Collective. “It’s great to see other brands experimenting with ways they can give pre-loved pieces a new home.”
Shop the Future Collectibles By Far edit from 16 to 23 November. All proceeds will go to Women for Women International.
