Vogue Singapore is the undisputed fashion authority that empowers and inspires through elevated imagery and intelligent stories to drive change for good
As with fashion weeks in New York and London, Milan Fashion Week is playing it safe this season, with a blend of digital shows and controlled press appointments in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Street style too, has changed accordingly with the times, with fewer showgoers making appearances, and some brands opting out of showing altogether.
Gucci is sitting this season out, with only one presentation slated for November, while other brands such as Prada—which saw the first-ever collaboration between Miuccia Prada with Raf Simons—and Versace opting for digital fashion shows. Valentino also returns to the Italian fashion capital, prioritising the safety of their workers by choosing to show in Milan instead of Paris this season.
