As anticipation for the Academy Awards continue to build, it seems a good time as any to indulge in a palate cleanser of sorts. Enter: the Screen Actors Guild Awards 2022; a celebration of the most spectacular performances in movies and prime-time television. Unlike its other flashier cousins, the SAG Awards has garnered praise for its comparatively more subtle ceremonies and presentation, lauded by critics for its “style, simplicity and genuine warmth” that takes place in a fast-moving two-hour presentation.
