It was, of course, image architect Law Roach who let slip that Zendaya and Tom Holland might have already married in secret. “You missed it!” he teased at the 2026 SAG Awards, when a red-carpet reporter asked about his plans for her dress. “The wedding’s already happened!”
Still, what the internet lacks in visual confirmation, the actor is making up for on the promotional tour for A24’s The Drama—in which she stars opposite Robert Pattinson as one half of a happily engaged couple whose wedding week goes spectacularly off the rails—and across the innumerable step-and-repeats where she appears to be method dressing as a bride.
While we can’t deny that a bridal theme has emerged (see: the blooming Caché gown—once worn by Whitney Houston and immortalised by Carrie Bradshaw—at the 2026 Essence Black Women in Hollywood Awards, and the ivory silk-satin Vivienne Westwood dress, which Zendaya herself first wore to the 2015 Oscars, at the film’s Los Angeles premiere) Roach has employed another kind of method dressing on this tour: something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue.
The old: her Vivienne Westwood rewear. The new: a custom Louis Vuitton column dress that made Zendaya look like the perfect cake topper. The borrowed: Cate Blanchett’s black Armani dress with a plunging embellished neckline. The blue? While one could argue the floral McQueen dress checked the box, we wouldn’t be surprised if Roach has something else up his sleeve.
