For other options to consider, look to the third season of Ted Lasso. Considered one of the most celebrated comedies in history with its back-to-back Emmy wins for Outstanding Comedy Series, the show’s new season will no doubt be as hilarious as it is heartfelt.

Set in a near future where the devastating effects of climate change have become entrenched in our daily lives, the series is made up of eight interwoven stories about the profound choices that must be made when the population can no longer catch up with how quickly the planet is changing. As the series questions whether we are ready to become the solution to our own undoing before time runs out, its relevance to the world we live in cannot be clearer.
