Some things just get a collector’s blood going in a frenzy. And one of those things, which has been relentlessly collectible for decades, is Pokémon. It’s in the slogan after all: gotta catch ’em all. Well, here’s some good news for lovers of Pokémon and jewellery: Norwegian label Tom Wood has collaborated with the franchise to create a collection of six adorable and easy to wear Pikachu jewellery charms.

Originally founded in 2013 as a lifestyle brand, Tom Wood is a cult favourite for its minimalist demi-fine jewellery—especially its signet rings. These Pokémon pieces are, in a sense, a bit of a wildcard surprise. “The process of connecting Pokémon and Tom Wood has been both exciting and rewarding,” says Tom Wood founder Mona Jensen. “The end result is a timeless tribute to both brands, merging playfulness with excellent craftsmanship into a miniature object.”

The miniature objects in question are six Pikachu charms, offered in either polished sterling silver or gold-plated sterling silver, and in three variations: a cheery wave, a happy outburst, and a bashful shy pose. A ring is attached to each of these charms to maximise versatility, giving you the option of wearing them in different ways. As a single pendant piece on a chain necklace or earring, perhaps, or grouped and layered together as charms on a bracelet.
These pieces are also crafted with the Tom Wood label’s ethos of environmentally friendly and carbon-conscious design. Like many of the brand’s other pieces, these Pokémon charms are made from recycled gold and silver, in line with the sustainability standards of the Responsible Jewellery Council which the brand is a member of.
The Tom Wood x Pokémon collection is available now at Dover Street Market Singapore as a limited edition.
