From her first eponymous album to her latest dreamlike record, evermore, Taylor Swift has always taken her listeners on a journey with words, melodies and—yes, fashion. As Swift begins to release first glimpses into her re-recorded albums, Fearless is taking the lead and is set to re-release tomorrow, 9 April.
In honour of the re-recording, we’ve rounded up Swift’s best performance ensembles from when she took the stage in Singapore. Having performed here on both her Red and 1989 world tours, her looks have run the gamut of bold, charismatic, and vivacious. Singapore is, however, a little more than just a touring destination for Swift, as her mother, Andrea, spent a large part of her childhood in our beloved Lion City.
“My mum grew up in Singapore. Her parents were travelling around for my grandfather’s job,” said Swift in an interview with The Straits Times. “It was always really wonderful to bring her back so she can see her old neighbourhood and see where she grew up. I think it’s really nostalgic for her.”
