Rice-based beauty is the underrated key to luminous skin and hair

The Vogue Singapore ‘EMBODY’ Issue

SEVENTEEN may have just turned 11, but Joshua is just getting started. This curious shift comes amidst a defining season for the K-pop group who is currently navigating their enlistment period, with members presently serving, or scheduled for conscription this year.

As one of two cover stars for Vogue Singapore’s June ‘Embody’ issue, the inquisitive K-pop artist lets us into the various creative roles he has been switching between—from forays into the acting world and producing music, to deeper ventures into fashion.

Joining him as our second cover star is Zara Larsson. Be it the soaring success of her fifth studio album ‘Midnight Sun’ or the way in which PinkPantheress’s ‘Stateside’, featuring Larsson, took off at the Winter Olympics after Alysa Liu skated to their track on the ice, there’s been an undeniable, star-like quality to the Swedish pop artist, who has been blazing through her world tour stops as of late.

In this issue, the electrifying pop star opens up about how her sound has always been inflected by her musical foundations in Sweden, connecting with her fans, and why she’s never been able to imagine not doing music.
