Perched right at the top of Capital Tower is the hottest new restaurant in town. Step in, and you’ll find a space entirely encircled by floor-to-ceiling windows, looking out to breathtaking 360-degree panoramic views of the skyline. Lush greenery, plush booths and patterned tiles add vibrant colour, as a spectacular 3D-printed bamboo installation curves around the entire restaurant, its intricate contours arching from wall to ceiling. And to make to space truly come alive? Samba dancers from Brazil take to the floor, as percussionists amp up the electrifying atmosphere. This is the world-famous SUSHISAMBA.

Singapore’s dining scene is no stranger to exciting openings. Even then, few come as buzzy or as iconic as SUSHISAMBA. Known for its unique medley of Japanese, Brazilian and Peruvian flavours, the globally renowned brand has earned itself the reputation of being the place to be, in each of the cities it has opened up in—from Las Vegas to Dubai. And now, SUSHISAMBA arrives, for the very first time, in the Asia-Pacific, right in the heart of Singapore.
A theatre kitchen sits centrestage, and it is here where the magic happens. Take a seat near the robata grill section, and you’ll bear witness to chefs preparing dishes over a traditional Japanese charcoal grill and Josper oven. Tuck into Peruvian-style anticuchos—including skewers of Chilean Seabass glistening with a delectable white miso glaze, buttery and tender enough to melt in your mouth. There are also premium cuts of A5 Japanese Wagyu Striploin to look forward to, served with a special Samba sauce and wasabi, as well as a Kurobuta Pork with rocoto hoisin and pickled kombu radish.

At the sushi counter, the freshest seafood is flown in from Japan and laid out. Take your pick from an exquisite spread of nigiri, sashimi platters and Samba Rolls—each meticulously crafted using only the best ingredients, including sushi rice seasoned with traditional red rice vinegar for authentic flavour. For something special that you won’t find in any other SUSHISAMBA outpost, try the Samba Chilli Crab, a Singapore-exclusive rice roll with crispy soft-shell crab, accompanied by yuzu mayo and our city’s distinctive chilli crab sauce.

You’ll find all of SUSHISAMBA’s famous international favourites on the menu as well, from a Crispy Octopus with miso kabocha puree that packs a flavourful punch, to a perfectly balanced Yellowtail Taquito with avocado. And of course, who could forget the restaurant’s Peruvian specialties, including its refreshing Seviches. To get a taste of the creative variety that the restaurant offers, go for the Samba Seviche, a selection of all its signature Seviches—presented, impressively, on a platter surrounded by swirling wisps of dry ice smoke.

When you’re done, head up a corner stairway to hidden in-house speakeasy SAMBAROOM, where you’ll find signature cocktails created by celebrated Italian beverage consultant, Giancarlo Mancino. As Afro-Latin and Brazilian beats echo through the intimate space coupled with live music by a percussionist, trumpeter or saxophonist each night, a nightcap here is the perfect way to end the evening.
