With Milan fashion week done and dusted, it’s finally the French capital’s turn to shine as the spring/summer 2026 shows make their way to Paris. As fashion insiders, designers, and a constellation of A-list stars flood the city, its streets are transformed into a living runway. This season is truly one of the most transformative ones, with a new vanguard of designers set to make their debuts at some of fashion’s most historic houses. With the heavy weight of legacy on their shoulders and the world watching closely, the next language of luxury unfolds.
Among the most anticipated is Matthieu Blazy’s long-awaited debut at Chanel after a successful tenure at Bottega Veneta. Not to forget the highly anticipated Dior show, which marks Jonathan Anderson’s first womenswear line after being appointed as the creative director for the French maison. Other headline transitions include Pierpaolo Piccioli’s move to Balenciaga, Miguel Castro Freitas’ debut at Mugler, and Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez starting a new chapter for Loewe.
Inaugurating the season was Saint Laurent, as creative director Anthony Vaccarello took over the Trocadéro Fountain with a collection brimming with structured silhouettes and this season’s penchant for all things ruffles and frills. Meanwhile, at Dries Van Noten, Julian Klausner took the idea of a wave to build up a collection full of zesty colour combinations and contrasts.
The magnetic spirits of fashion week are translated off the runway as well, as showgoers and enthusiasts alike storm the streets of the City of Light in nothing but their very best forward. It’s Paris after all. Think statement hats, structured blazers, and flared skirts. It’s no surprise, then, that some of our favourite A-listers have also been spotted, like Zendaya, Charli XCX, Lisa, Rosé, and more.
