The hour is here, the stage is set. The Milan crowd is buzzing with excitement, and there’s no shortage of showgoers who have been busting out their best sartorial swerves on the streets. Indeed, Milan Fashion Week is in full swing—and today welcomes one of the most highly-anticipated shows on the roster: Prada’s spring/summer 2025 show. Over the past few years, Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons have only continued to deliver on exceptional craftsmanship and storytelling—and there’s no doubt that this season will be any different.
Last year, the maison’s spring/summer 2024 runway was as directional as they come. As thick, clear slime perforated the space, models came marching out in beautiful organza dresses that rippled with movement and tasselled skirts that swung as they hung off waists. Then, for fall/winter 2024, it was all about reclaiming classic and timeless nuances of fashion—motifs and of-the-moment details reinterpreted in more sentimental codes, from the girlish bows on dresses to those mismatched sweater twinsets. As for what today’s show might promise? Whilst a teaser hints at the house’s inclinations to play with ideas of light, materiality and nostalgia, there’s no question that it will still leave the house’s stealth fans breathless in its wake.

The scene outside the shows is also an exciting one for sure, considering Prada is known for its large celebrity clientele. House ambassadors Enhypen have basically confirmed their attendance with a dedicated teaser on Instagram, but there’s plenty more appearances to look forward to, from the likes of NCT’s Jaehyun to Chinese actor Li Xian and newly-minted ambassador Karina of Aespa.
