Of the many seasons that are rung in, whether be spring or summer, there’s one of late that has been reigning. One that isn’t quite a part of the weather or affixed with any fleeting trends; rather a joyous blessing, a gift of life. In case you haven’t quite noticed, it’s baby season amongst the celebrity set. Who can forget the day when the Biebers made their announcement, via a swoon-worthy vow renewal featuring Hailey’s growing bump in a wedding dress. Since then, we’ve seen the Rhode founder dress up her bump in varying ways—from form-fitting Jacquemus silhouettes to dressing down on lazy days in a baggy T-shirt.

Ravishing as ever, The White Lotus actor Alexandra Daddario revealed her pregnancy with the utmost insouciance, whilst dressed in relaxed loungewear separates for an interview with Vogue. Then there was supermodel Adwoa Aboah, who chose this year’s Met Gala to reveal her pregnancy—in a crimson two-piece custom set by H&M, with her bump proudly on display. 

Certainly, there has been a baby boom this year and if there’s anything we’ve gleaned from it at all, it’s that maternity wear isn’t really a thing. What pregnancy perhaps brings out, is the wearer’s sartorial sensibilities that not conceal, but accentuate the life growing inside them. That, plus the radiant glow and overflowing joy that has been bestowed on the mums-to-be. The ultimate winning combination, if we might add.
