A PSA to everyone in the room with us: Lola Tung is It girl material. Maybe you’ve spent a few summers with Belly—and her double trouble lover boys Jeremiah and Conrad over in Cousins Beach—or maybe you haven’t pressed play on a single episode of The Summer I Turned Pretty. What you do probably know however, is that as the show wraps up the popular series adaptation of Jenny Han’s books with its third and final season, it’s Tung (who plays Belly) that has been the talk of fashion town.
With a stylist that’s doing everything right by her books—aka Britt McCamey, whom Tung has been working with for the past three years—we’ve been looking at a spotless press run this past season. Filled with joyful vintage sets copped off the shelves of luxury consignment platform The RealReal, delightful infusions of playfulness when it comes to adopting millennial favourites like strappy minis and silk scarves (very Gen Z of her, if you’re asking us), as well as a cacophony of personal looks that mix high and low fashion, Tung’s sartorial showings are anything but boring.

What perhaps piques our interest most, is that whether it’s an Ann Demeulemeester boho number for a TSITP red carpet premiere or a casual white tank paired off with some wide-legged denim and Mary Janes, all of her outfits feel so intrinsically her. It’s precisely the amount of decent fun we want to see in a style star’s wardrobe. It helps that Tung herself doesn’t take it too seriously—because yes, you should be beaming with joy when you’re dressed in a show-stopping vintage pull or have put together an ensemble that you look that good in.
Truth be told, anyone who’s been on the lookout for Tung’s sartorial leanings over the past few summers might have caught on; some of her most unexpected moments have been at her fashion week showings, from Sandy Liang to Coach and Tory Burch. With the stellar run Tung has been having these past few weeks, we won’t be surprised to see her at the FROW for many more shows this spring/summer 2026 season. Belly may be your college girl next door chic, but Tung has the chops for being fashion’s It girl of the season.
