Porcelain skin. Piercing green eyes. A statuesque beauty reminiscent of the Renaissance. American actress and model Havana Rose Liu has certainly proven to be quite the scene-stealer, having since emerged in the spotlight with her breakout role in Bottoms. A skincare step I never skip Moisturising head to toe right out of the shower. Your skin holds everything together—you got to treat it sweet.
My skincare essentials I once heard someone say “good skin starts the night before” and I really agree. My skin has always run dry and sensitive, so I’ve used Eucerin original formula at night all over my face and body since I was tiny. It’s very thick and intense, but I think it’s as essential to me as water at this point, so if they ever discontinue it I will unfortunately fall apart.
More recently, I went to a dermatologist for the first time and it was illuminating. Turns out freckles are sun damage and everybody knew that except for me. So now, per their recommendation, I use Vichy LiftActiv C15 Brightening Serum, the Cellular MD High-Impact Serum mixed with Clé de Peau Beauté Le Sérum and the La Roche-Posay Anthelios UVmune 400 Invisible Fluid SPF50+ every morning on my face. I use the Photozyme MD Ultra Rich DNA Facial Cream and SK-II Facial Treatment Essence at night.

A tip I’ve stolen from a makeup artist I used to use make-up to hide my flaws, but MUAs have shown me that make-up can be used to love and accentuate what one already has.
An everyday make-up look for me I like extremely minimal makeup for every day. I do a little of the Glossier Stretch Balm Concealer and the IT Cosmetics Brow Power Universal Eyebrow Pencil to make something of my measly brows. I use the same brow pencil as an eyeliner, and blot on the Chanel N°1 Lip And Cheek Balm. I’ve also recently incorporated brown mascara into my look.
A preferred eyeshadow combination Clé De Peau Beauté Eye Colour Quad in Beach Pebbles is sweet for gentler looks, while the Chanel Les 4 Ombres in 79 Spices makes me blink more dramatically.
How I take care of my locks My friend Anissa just came out with a beautiful hair care product called Tecuane Esperanza scalp tonic and I’m really enjoying the new ritual of giving my roots a little rub. I’m newly realising rituals like this really do make life a bit more lovely.
A personal beauty trick I used to watch my grandma pat her face aggressively when she put on creams. She looks amazing, so now I do that too.
A wellness practice that I’ve adopted for a while now Meditation. Necessary for me!
A scent that I can’t live without That would be two: a perfume called Sport by Nova and Bleu de Chanel cologne by Chanel.
