Graduating from the fever dream of high school, the characters of Euphoria have now gone through a time skip and entered the reality of the corporate, let’s-get-it-done era. That is not to say the drama has dialled down—no, it has simply found newly-minted packaging. And with the show’s aesthetic still so central to its identity, Season 3 makes that shift immediately clear through a visual world that feels more grown and more tied to where everyone has landed five years on. That, of course, includes the style language: Heidi Bivens, who shaped the show’s first two seasons, has handed the costume reins to Natasha Newman-Thomas, now dressing this chaos-prone lot as they move outside the bubble of high school.
To no one’s surprise, Maddy, played by Alexa Demie, remains one of the biggest style draws this season. Her glamour now comes with a more Hollywood-facing sheen, which makes perfect sense for someone working in that world: cue the huge fur coat by the pool—very much à la Maddy—and a wardrobe that carries that same expensive bite throughout, finished with a sprinkle of vintage pieces here and there. This season also sees Rosalía’s acting debut as Magick, appearing as one of the nightclub dancers in a metallic look finished with an equally dazzling custom crystal-embellished neck brace (trust the pop it-girl to make even an injury look chic).
Meanwhile, Jules, now in art school, seems to have traded her more casual preppy pieces for a more luxe register, as seen in the Balenciaga number she wears entering her penthouse looking every bit the part. Lexi, now working her dream job in the television industry, still carries the same sense of whimsy she has always had, with bright looks full of colour play, layering pieces and prints running through her rotation. And of course there is Nate, played by Bottega darling Jacob Elordi, still swanning about in plenty of Bottega Veneta, a standout being a blue plaid top that Kate Moss wore during the spring 2023 show.
