In the last haute couture season, held amid the global pandemic and lockdowns, Dior and Maria Grazia Chiuri transported us into a mythical wonderland replete with nymphs, satyrs, and other fairytale creatures entranced by a roving miniature house of doll-sized couture creations.
For the spring/summer 2021 haute couture season, Chiuri seems to be drawing on one of her favourite motifs—the tarot card deck—for inspiration, if her invitations are anything to go by.
