How did you meet?
Sonia: We met through work actually. She was a DJ as well at 98.7 FM. We kind of vibed and got closer.
Tabitha: I remember first coming into the station and Sonia was already there [as a DJ], and thinking, “oh my god, this girl is so cute—like her style, her personality”.
Favourite BFF memory with one another?
Sonia: My favourite memory was when we did a show together.
Tabitha: I was going to say the same thing!
Sonia: Believe it or not, it was called ‘Two Nasty Gals’.
Tabitha: I don’t know who allowed it to run with that name…on national radio—mind you!
What are your favourite Dior products, and why?
Sonia: I like a nice, natural glowy look, which the Dior Forever Couture Perfect Cushion gives me. I also really like the Skin Correct Concealer because of its buildable coverage and natural finish.
Tabitha: I’m the opposite of Son. I like a matte, contoured, snatched look. Dior’s Backstage Contour palette is super nice—it has four different colours for you to match your tone or to mix it to get the shade you want. It gives a nice, glowy, radiant tan look.
Sonia: Another product I swear by is Diorshow Brow Styler. It’s the best brow pencil that I’ve tried so far. It’s so sleek and compact.
Tabitha: I swear by the brow pencil too. I’m trying to grow my brows out, and Diorshow Brow styler is perfect for a natural-looking fill in.

What’s your ideal BFF date?
Iman: Travelling somewhere, for sure!
Suhaila: recently, we said somewhere ‘Tropical’ like the Maldives.
Iman: Since it’s Covid times, we’d hang at my place or catch up over coffee or a meal since we’re individually very busy well—Suhali with her training and now, my music. It’s the little things that we like.
My Best Friend is most beautiful when…?
Iman: My best friend is most beautiful when she is au naturel…when she’s being herself and goofing around with me.
Suhaila: We have the same answers! Iman is so herself—she’s so weird and funny at the same time. I just love to see her being herself
Team Matte or Team Glow? What’s your secret tip for flawless foundation application?
Iman: Team glow! I like a very natural, glowy look. Think glossy, dewy…so I really like the Dior Addict Lip Glow Oil. For foundation, I cover up what I want to cover up and don’t pat on too much powder. I like to use cream-based products instead because it’s more natural-looking and allows for my skin’s glow to show.
Suhaila: I’m team matte since my skin type is oily. It’s like second-skin. I recently learnt something on Tik Tok, where you first apply moisturiser and set your skin with setting powder, followed by setting spray and let it dry. Then, you apply primer and your foundation. I tried it out and the application is really good.
Willabelle Ong and Jessicacindy Hartono
What’s your go-to beauty look?
Willabelle: I love a bold eye…think smokey shadow or think eyeliner. I would pair it with neutral lips and flawless skin, achieved using the Dior Forever Foundation which is my absolute favourite because of how breathable and buildable the product is. It stays on flawlessly from morning till night. For a quick touch-up on the go, Dior’s Forever Cushion Powder is my go-to.
Jessicacindy: My go-to beauty look is the “no make-up look”, where products are applied to enhance my features. I love a bare, but healthy-looking skin and one of my favourites for that is Dior Forever Couture Perfect Cushion which hydrates and gives a subtle glow to my skin yet is not at all oily. It works really well with my combination sensitive skin type.
What does eternal beauty mean to you?
Willabelle: To me, ‘Eternal beauty’ is about being kind, having the right values and a sense of integrity. It also means putting yourself first and making time for self-care.
Jessicacindy: Eternal beauty is a glow that comes from within—built upon by good sleep, a heart full of joy and peace, and a body nourished with plenty of water and healthy food. Nothing is more beautiful than a person with a good heart.
How has your approach to beauty changed or evolved over the years?
Willabelle: I’ve since cut down the number of products used, whether skincare or makeup, as I now tend to reach for the ones I’ve known and grown to love. For self-care, I usually dedicate some time for wellness. Feeling renewed and recharged helps me with my perception of outer beauty.
Jessicacindy: ‘Natural’ has always been my preference. Nothing much has changed in my approach to beauty, I still believe that less is more!
