It wasn’t so long ago that the British actress Daisy Edgar-Jones shot to fame in the Emmy-nominated television adaptation of Normal People. In short order, Edgar-Jones has made big waves and moved swiftly from an up-and-comer to a star in her own right. Her talents have shown in projects like Where the Crawdads Sing from 2022, and the series Under the Banner of Heaven that earned her a second Golden Globe nomination in 2023. And with roles in summer blockbusters like 2024’s Twisters, she’s shown an eclecticism in her artistic choices. Up next, she’s set to play Elinor Dashwood in an upcoming adaptation of Jane Austen’s Sense and Sensibility.
Busy times for Edgar-Jones—and busier still recently, as she was named a new ambassador for the Parisian jeweller Boucheron. “We’re delighted to welcome Daisy Edgar-Jones into the Boucheron family,” wrote CEO Hélène Poulit-Duquesne in a press communiqué. “Her radiant personality, natural elegance and artistic integrity resonate deeply with the spirit of our maison.”

On the occasion of her new starring role with Boucheron, Daisy Edgar-Jones gives Vogue Singapore an exclusive insight into the jewellery she treasures most, and her connection with the jewellery maison.
What are the values you share with Boucheron?
I love the way Boucheron blends bold creativity with a strong sense of heritage. It’s modern but still feels deeply personal and timeless. It’s also inspiring to see two visionary women—CEO Hélène Poulit-Duquesne and creative director Claire Choisne—leading the charge.
Is there a memory that has defined your approach to jewellery?
Jewellery has always felt rather special to me. I used to go through my mum’s pieces as a kid— every piece holds its own story. There’s a magic to that, I think. There’s no wrong way to go about it.

How does Claire Choisne’s work touch you?
Claire’s pieces feel like wearable poetry. That necklace made from aerogel—it’s like putting a bit of sky around your neck. Or the Fleurs Eternelles pieces that are actual real flower petals. They’re truly artful. Just stunning.
Do you have a favourite Boucheron collection?
The Animaux collection! Especially Wladimir. The animals are so realistic! Very playful yet elegant.
Is there a piece of jewellery that you dream of owning?
Something from the Carte Blanche high jewellery “Impermanence” collection. It’s so creative—like you’re picking little treasures from nature.

What are your three must-have pieces of jewellery?
Hoop earrings, ear clips, and a great statement ring. Simple and versatile. They go with everything.
What gemstone suits you best?
Emerald is my birth stone, and I’ve always loved the beauty of a glitter of green in a piece. I also love pink, so pink sapphire, pink tourmaline, morganite, rose quartz, and pink garnet—anything pink!

What piece of jewellery do you never take off?
My Quatre hoops. They’re simple and timeless. I can wear them every day.
Nature is a recurring theme at Boucheron. How do you connect with this?
I’ve always found so much beauty and inspiration in nature and its quiet magic. I love how Claire and Hélène translate that into something so refined and emotional. It feels really personal, which makes it all the more special.
