The tenants in Paris’s Place Vendôme square are a fancy bunch. It’s got the Ritz, it’s got the headquarters of the French Ministry of Justice. But above all, Place Vendôme is the heart and home of Parisian high jewellery. Which is why it was a novel twist when Boucheron turned its historical address, at number 26, into a nightclub on 29 February 2024. The purpose: throwing a party to celebrate the 20th anniversary of its four-banded Quatre collection of jewellery.
Boucheron is the oldest jeweller on Place Vendôme. The brand moved in in 1893, and reopened the flagship in 2018 after renovations. The heritage details of its home—mouldings, parquet floors and fireplaces—formed the scenography of the night. Dubbed Club Quatre, the concept was an ode to the flamboyance of Paris nightclubs in the 2000s. The choice of referencing this decade being, of course, a nod to the Quatre collection’s birth in 2004.

On scene at the Club Quatre party were the house’s ambassadors, like Korean actress Han So-hee and the models Alexa Chung and Anja Rubik, and friends of the house. Some Asian guests included the Japanese singer and model Rola, and famed Filipino fashion icon Heart Evangelista.
The Club Quatre party is, however, just the beginning of the collection’s anniversary celebrations. A slate of novelties that expands on the collection’s codes will be launched this year. And the maison is also staging four ephemeral boutiques around the world dedicated to the collection. These pop-ups will tell the story of the Quatre collection, with interactive activities like a nail bar that offers polish, stickers and flash tattoos so that your fingers are all set up to try on the house’s emblematic rings. The first of these debuted in Paris during fashion week, with stops to come in Seoul in June, Shanghai in July and Tokyo in October.
