The 2025 BAFTAs are here: the annual star-studded celebration that sees the best creative minds in British film, and beyond, come together for one night only. It’s a fun one this year, too, with the likes of Demi Moore, Cynthia Erivo, and Mikey Madison nominated for Best Actress (the latter two also happen to be co-hosts for British Vogue & GQ’s Fashion & Film after-party), while Timothée Chalamet is nominated alongside Adrien Brody and Hugh Grant in the Best Actor race.
Not only that, but pop-songstresses-turned-Hollywood-stars Selena Gomez and Ariana Grande are both up for Best Supporting Actress, while Succession co-stars Jeremy Strong and Kieran Culkin have received nods in the Best Supporting Actor category. Meanwhile, Irish hip-hop trio Kneecap has picked up nominations in six categories, including Outstanding British Film category, alongside queer crime thriller Love Lies Bleeding. Oh, and Take That are performing! A song from 2008! See, we told you this was a fun one.
But now for the important bit: the red-carpet looks. Obviously all award shows are basically just an excuse for everyone to get dressed up and party, and the BAFTAs—which is taking place at the Southbank Centre’s Royal Festival Hall again this year—is no different.
