If there’s a shelf with liquor on it, there’s a good chance a bottle of Hendrick’s Gin calls it home. The Scottish distillery’s famous spirit is a staple of cocktail recipes the world over, and for good reason. Its distinct infusion of 11 botanicals, alongside rose and cucumber, is utterly transformative, providing a springboard for gin’s distinct juniper-forward flavour profile to soar to refreshing heights. Now, more than a decade later, the distillery has unveiled their first permanent addition to their iconic gin portfolio: Another Hendrick’s.
The name is a curious one, to be sure, but fully in keeping with the brand’s identity. Their avant-garde aesthetic is an apt backdrop for embracing the whimsical and peculiar—for 27 years, Hendrick’s has been fully committed to building a world where the weird is as welcome as the wonderful. Another Hendrick’s carries forward that spirit into 2026 with bold, unabashed flair, shaped with loving care by master distiller Lesley Gracie.

Where Hendrick’s Classic takes up residence in a striking black glass bottle, Another Hendrick’s stuns in heavenly white. The former’s slew of zesty botanicals place rose and cucumber centre stage. At once delicate and crisp, its journey is a smooth cruise to refreshing comfort. The new spirit elevates this experience by complementing that signature flavour profile with the vibrance of orange blossom, grounded in the silky smooth decadence of roasted cacao beans. Complex, yet accessible, the result is a delightful inversion of expectation: wholly unexpected, but deeply satisfying.

There’s a good reason why most gin distillers avoid cacao; it is hellishly difficult to incorporate into the clear liquor with any sense of delicate balance. But for Gracie, the challenge was precisely the point: an exploration of the unexpected, and a reflection of Hendrick’s DNA in making the unexpected possible. Another Hendrick’s is the best of both worlds, bearing a profoundly different, sensory dimension to Hendrick’s Classic. Exciting, fresh sweetness that never compromises on profound depth of flavour—a signal to the world of the distillery’s and Leslie Gracie’s enduring spirit of curiosity that takes shape in another character.

This character evolution does not discard the past wholesale. Rather, the brand is embracing its most celebrated tenets—detailed craft and clear-eyed purpose—with a future-forward understanding of its audience. Take, for example, the global platform with which Another Hendrick’s has been launched on, appropriately dubbed ‘Anotherland’.
Conceived as an exploration of duality, Anotherland is a portal to a realm where contrast thrives, inviting visitors to indulge in playful whimsy across immersive, multi-sensory encounters. From the streets of New York to sunny Singapore, Anotherland unfolds through a series of arresting experiences, with the the latter’s recent activation extending a glimpse into this curious realm and heralding citywide celebration.

Now available in over 300 bars islandwide, Another Hendrick’s is making its presence felt across the city, with the chance to win an exclusive trip for two to the Hendrick’s Gin Palace in Girvan, Scotland. In the month of June, curious fans who order a Hendrick’s & Tonic at participating outlets every Tuesday can also receive a complimentary Another Hendrick’s and Tonic. The spirit’s arrival in Singapore was marked by an intimate affair at Cygnet Bar, hosted by Hendrick’s Gin newest Regional Brand Ambassador for Southeast Asia: Alexis Sang.
There is hardly a better fit for the brand than Sang. The now industry veteran cut his teeth waiting tables at the Warwick Brussels nearly a decade ago, where he developed a love for spirits and cocktails that manifested first in his role as the hotel’s head bartender—and later as the brand ambassador for William Grant & Sons in Belgium and Luxembourg. Now, in his new role, he emerges as a guide within this curious world, bringing Anotherland to life in the region through his flair for storytelling and craft. At the Singapore soiree, the vivacious Frenchman from Belgium came to life, embodying the essence of Hendrick’s—its wit and whimsy—with an infectious passion.

A veritable rabbit hole of discovery, the platform’s arrival in Singapore was an exercise in arcane mysticism and elaborate theatre. Visitors answered esoteric questions aimed at uncovering the duality hidden within themselves and encountered a flamboyant ‘representative’ of Hendrick’s who put on a show and a half in a secret side room, paving the way for the grand reveal of a brand new bottle of Another Hendrick’s. Naturally, the rousing denouement involved a convivial tipple (or three) in the shape of signature serves like the Hendrick’s Spritz—featuring both cucumber and cacao—all immaculately hosted by Sang. In short, a decidedly Hendrick’s affair.
To say the experience was a transportive one would be a gross understatement. Instead, let us bite the bullet of wordplay with stoic reserve and simply say: it was, truly, another land. The literal conception of Anotherland besides, what Another Hendrick’s offers to interested drinkers is, indeed, another world.
The name of the game is duality—whether in the form of Hendrick’s classic blueprint or its newest offering—but on this front, there are no losers. Regardless of your choice, so long as you embrace the spirit of adventure at the heart of Hendrick’s, you will be rewarded with the crystal clear waters of one of Scotland’s very finest. And if you have concerns about the presence of cacao in your gin, fret not. This one goes down swimmingly.
