Roger Vivier takes its story home to Maison Vivier for spring/summer 2026, at the newly opened hôtel particulier in Saint-Germain-des-Prés that once belonged to the founder himself. Inside, the maison presents the latest Belle Vivier collection, celebrating six decades of its most defining silhouette.
First created in 1965 for Yves Saint Laurent’s Mondrian collection and later made famous when Catherine Deneuve wore it in Belle de Jour, the Belle Vivier pump remains emblematic of the brand’s design heritage. Creative director Gherardo Felloni honours that legacy through refined updates that keep the silhouette’s clear geometry intact while introducing new materials and embellished finishes that build on its original design language. The classic pump appears in satin embroidered with sequins and glossy patent leather, anchored by the maison’s signature metal buckle. Slingbacks bring in a heel strap for a lighter profile and platforms raise the line in scale. Colourways span from soft neutrals to high-shine tones, all while the silhouette remains the focus.
Of course, the lineup also extends into handbags, bringing the same design vocabulary through structured shapes and the adored clasp. The Belle Vivier bag stands out when the buckle motif becomes the centrepiece of a pared-back frame. Braided-leather versions and compact silhouettes bring texture and new proportion while staying consistent with the house’s visual codes.
