In 2020, Vogue Singapore launched its first issue on the newsstands—and henceforth established itself as an undisputed fashion authority in the region. Three years on, and we’ve constantly challenged ourselves to pursue an ethos of innovation, evidenced by the number of Vogue-firsts we’ve achieved. Recall the AI-generated cover stars of our ‘Roots’ issue in March to our most recent September issue that reacts to heat. In similar hopes to continue empowering and inspiring change through the work that we do, we’re committed to creating moments and building experiences for our Vogue community. Which includes not just our readers, but the myriad of creatives, brands and key entities who have been vital forces behind the stories in our magazines.

It only stands to reason then, that as part of our third year anniversary celebrations, we’ve chosen to host a landmark event that gathers everyone together—to share and imagine an innovative vision for what the future of fashion could be. Enter: Next in Vogue. Set to be a three-day event at the end of the year, it will see the leading voices of our industry come together to engage in a multitude of purposefully-curated activities and panel discussions that explore the real-life and foreseeable intersections between fashion, beauty, technology and culture.
Earlier this month, a number of Singapore’s community of artists and leaders were invited to an exclusive and intimate preview of what they could expect at Next in Vogue at the luxurious Christopher Guy showroom. Members of our Vogue Council and valued industry entrepreneurs were also spotted in attendance, such as entrepreneur and creative director Mae Tan, CEO of Christopher Guy, Kisa Harrison and founder of SocietyA, Lay Peng Pek. As they all shared in some tipples courtesy of Saint Emilion, Vogue Singapore’s publisher Bettina von Schlippe welcomed the guests with an opening address, as she unveiled what was to come.

All in all, you could say that we’re only upping the ante once again. Held from 17 to 19 November, Next in Vogue will kick off with a series of exciting conferences—before spinning into a high-octane gala affair on its penultimate evening. By way of furthering conversations and learning from the experts, these conferences will be bringing laureate speakers and thought leaders from across the world to discuss the impact of innovation and culture on fashion.
From 17 to 18 November, there will also be additional immersive opportunities such as a Vogue Closet: where experiential wardrobe installations of latest collections by highly-coveted brands will be held. For the beauty-inclined, look forward to entering the Vogue Glam room—of make-up masterclasses and intimate beauty sessions. This will all unfurl at the The Singapore Edition, the hospitality house’s first-ever Southeast Asian venture, with Vogue Singapore being one of the hotel’s first patrons. Throughout the entire weekend, a Vogue Singapore pop-up booth will also be at this year’s edition of Boutique Fairs Singapore—which will put the spotlight on three up-and-coming designers from our local sartorial scene. Of course, there will also be an array of other fringe activities occurring on the sidelines during the multi-day event.
