Since Lindberg was founded in 1986 by father and son duo Poul-Jørn and Henrik Lindberg, the eyewear label has steadily built a reputation for producing quality glasses that are built to last. By employing a multi-disciplinary approach, each and every piece melds Henrik’s design sensibilities from being an architect and Poul-Jørn’s expertise as a seasoned optometrist. Such a unique perspective has earned the Danish eyewear brand multiple well-deserved design awards over the years, including the prestigious Red Dot Design Award in 2019.
When one thinks of Lindberg, they might be reminded of its unwavering commitment to research and development of materials. The Thintanium line is an embodiment of that same design ethos. Made using ultra-thin strips of titanium, each piece is lightweight enough that you’ll barely feel it on your face and sturdy enough that it’s resistant to any inevitable slip of the hand that one might have.
What’s more, unlike other frames, Lindberg’s offerings are entirely made without any screws, allowing for seamless and slick silhouettes that are equal parts minimal and luxe. This season, the line takes another step further with acetate rims incorporated in the frame, which in turn allows for thinner lenses to be mounted onto the pieces. This creates unparalleled lightness, levelling up the eyewear label’s already high functionality.
Needless to say, Lindberg provides a large variety when it comes to styles. Its personalisation program enables anybody to customise the shape, temple, size, and colour of their eyewear as they see fit—allowing individuals of any style to snag one of its many versatile pieces to match their wardrobe accordingly.
