An initiative born out of the Vogue Foundation’s ambition to drive change for good, the prize equips the next generation of entrepreneurial talent with best-in-class support—priming them for the world stage through industry insights, monetary support and access to a network of resources.

In partnership with BMW, the prize encourages emerging fashion entrepreneurs to reimagine the future of fashion through bold ideas that seek to solve real-world problems— attracting applicants with interests across accessible design, eco-sustainability, digital fashion and more.
BMW is a pioneer in next-generation innovations and is constantly paving the way for a future that is uncompromisingly electric, digital and circular. Together, BMW and Vogue Singapore Foundation aim to drive the future by identifying and supporting fashion businesses that embody fresh thinking and innovation to solve real-world problems.
Boasting its most extensive prize package to date, including a S$20,000 cash award and an all-expenses paid trip to Monaco, the Vogue Singapore x BMW Innovation Prize is seeking applications from fashion or beauty entrepreneurs and businesses that have a footprint in ASEAN, and fall into one or more of the following categories:
- Businesses that champion sustainability and drive towards a circular economy
- Businesses that employ technology or innovations in new and novel ways
- Businesses that re-think current models, systems or products to better serve our society and planet

Shortlisted applicants will get exclusive access to a four-week programme curated by Vogue Singapore, comprising a two-day virtual boot camp featuring laureate speakers and mentorship sessions to embark on the journey of refining their businesses. These global experts, hand-picked by Vogue Singapore, will lend their expertise from pillars such as digital innovation, creative direction, design, media, brand storytelling, marketing and more.

Innovation serves as a powerful driver of positive change by providing new solutions to entrenched problems. Advancements such as blockchain and smart fabrics are transforming the industry, making it more sustainable, efficient and inclusive.

Through a pitch and selection process, three finalists will present their business plan and prototype to an international jury who will assess the use of innovation, product, design and execution, sustainability and the business and marketing plan to ensure scalability.
The winner of the Vogue Singapore x BMW Innovation Prize 2024 will receive:
- A monetary prize of S$20,000
- Media coverage by Vogue Singapore
- A one-year complimentary membership at the Singapore Fashion Council
- Pro bono legal consultation with Gibson Dunn, one of the world’s leading law firms
- An all-expenses paid trip to Monaco for an innovation-packed itinerary including mentorship sessions, workshops, investor meetings, and events, courtesy of VisitMonaco
- First-hand feedback from global industry leaders and introductions to potential investors for funding
