The delicate subject of love takes centre stage in From Blockchain to Love Chain: the immersive scale of events set to launch in Vogue Singapore’s metaverse lounge ‘Club Vogue Singapore’ and ‘Fashion’s New World, hosted on Spatial.io—a trusted partner of Vogue Singapore since its inaugural foray into the metaverse. And most timely so, as the whimsical mood of Valentine’s Day whisks us away; placing us in a season where we’re taking stock of the intimate connections and shared relationships present in all our lives.
Taking us deeper into the metaverse, the line-up of events only seeks to further the idea of connection in the virtual world: questioning the limits of interaction through exclusive NFTs, rethinking the ways we build relationships via nuanced panel discussions and providing refreshed, artistic interpretations of modern love with a curation of artworks. As we approach the launch of From Blockchain to Love Chain, here’s everything you can expect to experience when you join us at ‘Club Vogue Singapore’, come 15 February at 10PM SGT.
Purchase a Love Chain NFT set

Ahead of the official launch on 15 February, a limited-edition pair of NFTs dreamed up in collaboration with Web3 community 8sian, will be made available to mint. Within each Love Chain set are two distinctive designs, titled ‘Dream’ and ‘Desire’—designed with the intention of its owner giving one away to a loved one and immortalising their connection to one another.
But the NFT set also gives you an advantage in the virtual space: where you’ll gain special access to the daily quests—such as treasure hunts or curated quizzes—happening every day from the launch date. By completing these tasks, the in-system ‘Love Meter’ will record your accomplishments and unlock even more prizes: think digital wearables from DressX, an exclusive NFT by 8sian or even an annual subscription to the digital edition of Vogue Singapore.
Each NFT set is available at 0.022 ETH here.
Learn about connection in the metaverse with industry experts
The access that we have online holds no barriers to imagination, bringing with it a perfectly blank canvas for reshaping our virtual lives. With the ability to personalise avatars and be whoever you want to be, the way we form relationships in the metaverse is undeniably different from our everyday realities—setting the pretext as to how the concepts of love and intimacy can also change.
As part of Vogue Conversations, a panel discussion where industry professionals such as David Cash, the founder of Cash Labs, Dr Giovanna Graziosi Casimiro, the Head of Metaverse Fashion Week, Krista Kim, a metaverse artist and the co-founder of 0.xyz, and Aurora Townsend, the founder and Chief Marketing Officer of Planet Theta and Firefly Games, has all weighed in with their expert opinions on how the way we connect has evolved for the metaverse. Titled ‘Love In The Metaverse: Exploring A New Age of Connection’, you can catch snippets of the conversation in ‘Club Vogue Singapore’ or watch the full discussion below.
Admire a collection of digital wearables

With the theme of love in mind, a collection of digital wearables has been dreamt up by various artists—each one applying their own interpretation of the theme onto the fashion garments.
Likening the feelings of infatuation to an addiction to sweet candy, the ‘DMAT x Xi x BBTT for Vogue Singapore’ is a saccharine-sweet pink look designed by Bad Binch TONGTONG and XTENDED iDENTITY for The Dematerialised. For its ‘Gabber Look’, digital fashion house The Fabricant focuses on the idea of self-love instead. Meanwhile, Ilona Song marries Japanese nuances of the camellia flower with geometric lines to produce ‘Camellia Bride’ and ‘Chanterelle’, both enunciating a romantic expression of the natural flora.
Enjoy artworks that celebrate love

A selection of artworks from three artists—Terry Gates, Ilona Song and Shavonne Wong—have been curated and put on display in ‘Club Vogue Singapore’ and ‘Fashion’s New World’. Discover the full creative array: from Ilona Song’s AI-generated series focusing on floral motifs to a piece from Shavonne Wong’s ‘Love is Love’ collection and two fresh and futuristic creations by Terry Gates.
All artworks will be available as limited NFTs on OpenSea from 15 February 10PM SGT onwards.
Stand a chance to showcase your work at Metaverse Fashion Week
Fancy having your garment designs be shown at Metaverse Fashion Week? Consider yourself a step closer to the virtual runway with ‘Metaverse Fashion Week x Vogue Singapore’, an active partnership with Decentraland and Metaverse Fashion Week that will give upcoming digital designers the opportunity to have their work seen and assessed by industry experts of the digital fashion space.
In line with the seasonal celebration of love, aspiring designers will be required to accede to a theme in their submissions: ‘Love in the Metaverse’, which they can choose to reinterpret according to their own creative visions. After the full round of assessments is completed, the top three finalists can expect to have their works highlighted at Metaverse Fashion Week’s Fashion Plaza, slated for 28 to 31 March. Live public voting will commence, to determine the winner who will receive exclusive coverage on Vogue Singapore and also have their work displayed in ‘Club Vogue Singapore’.
Submissions for Metaverse Fashion Week x Vogue Singapore will be open from now till 1 March here.
