In this era of relentless method dressing, Ayo Edebiri is falling back on the time-honoured tradition of just… dressing well.
The actor is currently promoting two very different projects–Inside Out 2 and season three of The Bear–and her stylist Danielle Goldberg has so far succeeded in fashioning a blessedly theme-free press tour. The sole exception was Edebiri’s custom seafoam green Bottega Veneta short suit, which she wore last week to subtly channel the teal-hued animation she voices in Inside Out 2.
Throughout this press tour, Goldberg has continued to etch Edebiri’s place in the cool girl canon, styling her in power-clashing separates. See: the architectural Marc Jacobs, the mishmash Dries Van Noten ensemble and the contra-striped Marni layers she wore for an appearance on SiriusXM. Edebiri has looked just as good in Loewe, too, modernising the waistcoat with barrel-shaped trousers, oversized sunglasses and square-toed boots.
